A school music program is defined as one distinct music course (e.g., band, choir, orchestra, or general music) operating independently on a single school campus. For example, the Readymade MS Band is one (1) subscription. The Readymade MS Orchestra is its own separate, single (1) subscription.
Our goal is to offer a fair and consistent pricing structure for all programs, while recognizing that not all are structured the same. In some cases, middle school or junior high programs teach beginners on a separate elementary or intermediate campus. In these situations, we may make exceptions to the “single school campus” rule. Here are a couple of examples:
âś… Example #1
One (1) junior high band is fed by two (2) intermediate campuses. The junior high directors are solely responsible for traveling to the intermediate campuses and teaching their beginning band students. In this case, we might write this up as one (1) subscription, with the junior high band as the name on the account.
âś… Example #2
One (1) middle school orchestra program starts beginning orchestra in 5th grade on its (2) elementary feeders. The middle school orchestra director is responsible for traveling to both elementary feeder campuses and teaching the beginners. In this case, we might write this up as (1) subscription, with the middle school orchestra as the name on the account.
❌ Example #3
One (1) junior high band is fed by two (2) intermediate campuses. The two (2) intermediate campuses each have their own band director(s) responsible for teaching beginning band on their respective campuses. In this case, we would write this up as two (2) subscriptions, with the intermediate band as the name on each account.
❌ Example #4
One (1) high school band is fed by two (2) middle school campuses. The two (2) middle school campuses each have their own band directors who are responsible for teaching beginning band on their respective campuses. In this case, we would write this up as (2) subscriptions, with the middle school band as the name on each account.
